I also read this in Russia, and also there were many physicians practicing ginkgo biloba extract. I found it curious that Dr. Konstantinov includes it here as a helpful wellness supplement since it’s very controversial. The fact he acknowledges that and writes about it makes me wonder just what his motives are.

Unfortunately, there are still no research on those, but there have been some promising results in clinical trials with extracts from the ginkgo biloba tree. In 1 study, mice were given a small amount of the extract daily. A few of the results demonstrated that the mice didn’t have a lower chance of developing cataracts. But more study is required to know whether these results are valid or not, particularly since there are still numerous doubts regarding side effects.
